Escanaba - The threat to the Great Lakes has become stronger since Asian carp have been found just seven miles from Lake Michigan recently. The local tourism officials say that this kind of destruction would have a huge impact not only on local waters, but also on tourism and the economy.

Asian carp pose a significant risk to the Great Lakes ecosystem. Rate because of their large size, voracious appetite, and rapid reproduction, this invasive species could disrupt the food chain that supports native fish in the Great Lakes, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources.

"The invasion of Asian carp have devastating effects on our fisheries and, in turn, the tourism industry," said Delta County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Vickie Micheau. "Asian carp could decimate the sport fishing on the bays that are held in high esteem by the professional and recreational fishermen.

Catfish adventure!

One of my friends called me to go river cat fishing, I accepted with comfort his magnetism and get into fever preparing for another tenebriousness vomit up on the river bank .I run to find somebait , for good managed to round off the preparations and at the in days of yore we are in the car keen to go, a new catfish danger . We drived about 40 km to the fishing take down a peg or two happen, astonishment, our fishing places was already enchanted. Sad and anxious we started looking elsewhere. Government moves slow on every issue and they do not seem to understand the severity of the issue it would be expensive so they will probably ignore it.~
